The Kings height is approximately 104mm (4.07") tall and has a wide base diameter of just under 43.37mm (1 3/4").
The detail for the knights are outstanding especially for a set made in brass, often these type of sets have only a broad detail,  but these are the best available and very detailed.
All Chess pieces have billiard cloth base pads and a hand polished lacquer finish producing a beautiful lustre.
The set is clearly differentiated in colouring for both sides, and comes complete with Two Free Extra Queens.
Over time the pieces improve in appearance as the air causes colour amelioration, this results in older sets being prized more for their aged colouring.
